UNITY and Autodesk Maya
These are some of the Autodesk Maya and Unity projects that I have worked on by myself over the years. Some of the Unity projects were made using some assets found on the Unity store.
In this project, we had to make a game where enemies chased the player in a sort of tag game, so I made a spooky run-down hospital where shadow creatures chased you.
The shadow creatures in the chase game. I wanted to make them look eerie, but not scary. I may have made them look a bit cute to some.
The final for the Maya class was to make a character in the software, so I modeled the Tanuki turret from Brawl Stars. I used more rounded pieces to assemble this character as opposed to the much more geometric shapes of the previous projects.
This is a finished version of the Maya room, complete with fully modeled furniture, completely textured and fully lit.
This was another project where we had to design a room from a piece of media, so I chose to model the interior of Bob from Animal Crossing. This was a work in progress screenshot of the project so not everything was textured quite yet.
I took a class on Autodesk Maya and learned how to 3d models and how to create environments in the software. This was a work in progress assignment to create a room.
A 2d side scroller shooter game I made for a class project. The goal was to control the fish and fire at enemies, while moving the starfish to block enemies. The starfish would instantly destroy enemies, but you wouldn't get any points for it. The pixel models were premade assets. This was very early on in my coding experience so I had to pull some tricks with the code to get what I wanted with this project.
Here is another look of that game with some more of the enemies on screen.
This was an environment that I made in Unity to test out VR. This was a minigame gallery that used the grab tool to throw basketballs in hoops, and bowl to knock over some pins. For this project I thought about what I thought would be fun physics showcases without relying on a joystick for movement, because we used the teleporting movement.
Another part of the gallery, there was a maze you could explore, a ring toss, prize are with some tools to mess around with, some ducks that you could grab and throw that would quack on release, and you could grab and throw the tables and chair as well.
This assignment was to teach us how to use the lighting tools in Unity, so we created a small apartment and attached lighting sources to objects that could use them
A small environment I made using Unity assets. The assignment was to make a mini platforming environment using assets from the Unity store, so I made a small polygonal forest area.
